WP3: ACE2-EU Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Incubator (ARIES- Incubator); Creating Joint Research and Innovation Opportunities
The main objective of this joint operational unit is to develop and deliver the joint research, innovation and entrepreneurship support programmes, activities, and associated learning opportunities of the alliance in collaboration with external stakeholders and partners through the establishment of the ACE2-EU Applied Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Incubator (ARIES-Incubator). The ARIES Incubator’s work plan will focus on:
I. The development and delivery of joint research & innovation learning opportunities and activities in partnership with external stakeholders relevant to current and future challenges including the twin digital and green transitions and current socio-economic issues. This objective will be achieved through the establishment of the ACE2-EU Applied Research, Development, and Innovation Centres (ARCs) and their associated initiatives and support programmes.
II. The development of the entrepreneurship innovation capacity of members of ACE2-EU through the establishment of the ACE2-EU Entrepreneurship Academy. The Entrepreneurship Academy will bring together experts from across the alliance in the area of entrepreneurship and business support who will develop entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship support programmes focussed on nurturing the development of emerging and young entrepreneurs and businesses across the alliance members.
III. The establishment of knowledge creation teams, networks and databases of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship support services and expertise from across our alliance and in partnership with our external stakeholders.
